The plan written when a failure to hold the published schedule can no longer be denied. The objective of a recovery plan is to return to the published schedule at some milestone defined thereupon, executing in accordance with the published plan thereafter.
Once a project reaches a critical mass of recovery plans1, the original schedule is no longer required.
